About

I'm a trusted advisor with over two decades leading non-profit initiatives across arts, education, housing, human services and public spaces. I help organizations move from inspired ideas to sustainable results, whether you're planning a capital campaign, strengthening your board, or building long-term fundraising capacity.

I have served as an executive director, development director, campaign leader and many roles in between. Now I bring that experience directly to organizations and community groups that need strategic guidance and hands-on support.

I'm also active in my Seattle community, currently serving as President of the South Lake Union Community Council where I’m involved in advocating for neighborhood priorities and fostering connection among residents and businesses.

Complex challenges simplified into actionable steps.

How I Can Help

  • I develop realistic goals, create actionable plans and coach volunteers and staff to fundraise with confidence.

Together, we’ll craft targeted outreach strategies that identify and engage individuals, corporations and foundations with the goal of inspiring long-term giving.

  • I guide capital and annual campaigns from initial planning through launch, with clear benchmarks to engage stakeholders and achieve results.

Every campaign has its own personality. I design customized plans that blend community-centered events with thoughtful stewardship activities to connect partners, inspire donors at all levels, and keep momentum strong through clear, actionable next steps.

  • Through an inclusive process that engages board, staff, volunteers and community, I help organizations uncover their strengths, identify opportunities, and design right-sized strategies for sustainable growth.

This process will set you up for success if you are considering a major campaign or simply want outside perspective and new ideas for your annual fundraising efforts.

  • Fractional and interim leadership is crucial for organizations navigating transition or growth. Whether stepping in to fill a key role or offering part-time strategic support, I’ll revive your fundraising strategy and guide teams calmly through to the next milestone.

For major projects or campaigns, short-term skilled leadership can be the key to drive your mission forward.

Garfield Super Block

As fundraising consultant for this $2M capital campaign, I helped raise philanthropic dollars for a long overdue community-driven vision for the Central District. The project celebrates the neighborhood's rich heritage by featuring original public art from 16 diverse local artists, creating a cultural landmark designed by and for the community it serves.

Center for Architecture & Design

As Executive Director of Seattle Architecture Foundation, I co-led a groundbreaking $2.5M campaign to establish Seattle's first Design Center. This innovative collaboration united three organizations - SAF, AIA Seattle, and Design in Public - along with volunteers, board members, and pro-bono architects to create a lasting resource for the design community.

Washington Middle School PTSA

I partnered with the PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association) to develop a sustainable fundraising strategy and strengthen organizational capacity. Through a comprehensive assessment and stakeholder engagement with staff, board members and families, I helped the organization begin diversifying its funding base and build a foundation for long-term success.
