FAQs
What does a typical engagement look like?
It depends on your needs. Some clients need comprehensive campaign leadership over 12-24 months. Others want a focused organizational assessment or distinct project around institutional or individual giving, which would be much shorter. I offer both ongoing support and project-based consulting.
Do you work with organizations of all sizes?
Yes. I've worked with grassroots coalitions, organizations with little to no staff and established non-profits. If you're committed to your mission and ready to invest in strategic growth, we can likely work together.
What geographic areas do you serve?
I'm based in Seattle and prefer to work primarily with organizations in the Pacific Northwest.
How do you charge for your services?
I offer project-based fees, monthly retainers, and hourly consulting depending on the scope of work. We'll discuss what makes sense during our initial conversation.
What if we're not ready for a full campaign?
That's okay. Many organizations start with an assessment or capacity-building engagement before launching a major campaign. I can help you determine what you need and when.
Who do you typically work with?
I partner with community coalitions leading grassroots campaigns, arts and cultural organizations building capacity, community groups strengthening engagement, environmental and public space initiatives, and non-profits in transition needing strategic guidance. Whether you're an established organization or a passionate group just getting started, I bring the same level of care and expertise to every engagement.
What's your approach to consulting?
I listen first, every organization has a unique story and set of strengths. I build strategies collaboratively alongside your team and community. I focus on sustainability, helping you build systems that continue working after our engagement ends. And I keep it simple - fundraising doesn't have to be complicated.
